Cisterra served as the development consultant to the San Diego Padres, Tishman Speyer and Ascendant Capital in the Request For Qualifications (RFQ) and Request For Proposal (RFP) submittal processes for Tailgate Park.

 

Cisterra offered unmatched expertise of the local market and leveraged exceptional relationships within the community to form the winning team for the public RFP. Cisterra specifically led the RFQ submittal and assisted on the RFP submittal with the creation of the development and consultant teams, planning (including alternatives and evolutions), and underwriting for the project.

 

The development will include substantial activation of the underutilized parking lot next to the Padres ballpark in Downtown San Diego. The Mixed-Use project will supply high density residential, office, retail, research and development, parking, and open public space to East Village’s Ballpark District.
